DON’T GIVE UP. YOUR BREAKTHROUGH MAY BE ONE STEP AWAY

Published on 12 June 2026 at 20:20

There are moments in life when giving up feels easier than holding on. When the delays feel endless, the disappointments cut deep, and the detours make you question whether you ever heard God clearly in the first place. When the weight on your chest feels heavier than the dream in your heart.

But here is a truth many people forget in their darkest hour:

Breakthroughs rarely announce themselves before they arrive.
They slip in quietly, suddenly, often right after the moment you almost walked away.

I was reminded of this in a profound way on the journey to the premiere of Shadows of Denial.

The entire process took two years.
One full year to film.
The first day of filming was August 9, 2024.
The final day of filming was August 11, 2025.
And even after filming wrapped, it still took another year before the movie was ready.
The search for the right editor, then the editing, refining, correcting, and trusting God through every unseen battle.

For months, the process stretched me. There were long nights, unexpected setbacks, technical issues, financial pressure and silent battles. Moments where the finish line looked blurry and far away. Moments where the dream felt bigger than the strength I had left.

But giving up was never an option. Not because everything was easy, but because purpose demanded perseverance.

And then June 6, 2026 arrived. The premiere of Shadows of Denial took place at Landmark Cinemas City Centre in Edmonton inside Auditorium Screen 1. It was more than a film screening; it was a testimony. We had a full auditorium with a powerful atmosphere, and a story that once lived only on paper was now unfolding on a cinema screen before people who showed up with support, love, and openness. The energy was electric.
The response was overwhelming.
The night was beautiful, emotional, affirming.

But here is the part that matters most:

It almost did not happen.

And that is why I am writing this today.

If you are reading this and you are tired
If you are fighting battles no one sees
If you are questioning whether your effort is worth it
If you are wondering whether your dream still matters

Let this be your reminder:

Do not give up.

You do not know what is waiting on the other side of your persistence.
You do not know who will be touched by the work you are doing.
You do not know how close you are to the moment that changes everything.
You do not know what God is aligning behind the scenes.

The premiere of Shadows of Denial was not just a celebration. It was proof that perseverance pays off. Proof that what feels delayed is not denied. Proof that your story, your purpose, your calling still carries weight.

So keep going.
Keep believing.
Keep building.
Keep showing up even when it is hard.

Your own premiere moment, your breakthrough, your victory, your answered prayer may be closer than you think.

Do not give up. Your story is still unfolding.
